Does Not Perform As Advertised
I purchased this app and ran it here on a late-2013 iMac running the most current version of El Capitan as of this writing. It did not remove everything it claimed to and falsely reported zero bytes of data in places where that was not correct. I verified this. So, based on a similar comment from another reviewer here I downloaded a free trial of another app also available here on the Mac App Store and tested if it would remove the items that Privacy Protector failed to remove. The app PrivacyScan did this successfully and also removed more items this app does not even attempt. There is no excuse for failing to properly QA software to ensure that it minimaly does what it is designed to do, thus my 1 star rating. I have removed it from my system and just requested a refund from the Mac App Store because this does not do what it advertises it will. I would recommend looking into other apps for this that work well such as the one I mention.
